my girl

So, this is my first attempt of a blog, so here it goes. This is my grilfriend Britany Swainston. We have an interesting story. We met about three years ago in hong kong. We served together as missionaries for a little over a year. We were good friends on our missions but i never really thought of her as anything other than a friend.
Well we both got off our missions and kept in touch. So we saw each other everyonce in a while when we were the other's neck of the woods. After having a chance to just hang out with her outside a missionary enviroment i started to notice how amazing she was. I started to hope that our relationship could be more than friends.
Then, durring christmas break, i realized that i didn't live that far from her and asked her if she wanted to meet up durring the break. She agreed and we planed to meet on a thursday at 8:00 pm after she got off work.
We went to subway and then to see "Alvin and the chipmunks" then we went back to her house and talked. We ended up talking for over five hours. Durring those five hours we ended up holding hands. It was a great day. We both had a blast. When i left to come back home we had decided to meet back up in pocatello two and a half weeks later. She was going to go to Hong Kong on vacation and wouldn't be back untill then.
So for two weeks i wondered if that night would turn into something more. Well, she got back and we reconfirmed our date. She showed up and i made breakfast. The first few minutes both of us were unsure of what to do. I think that we both didn't want to make the other uncomfortable. Well, i got fed up with being in limbo so i took her hand and and said, "this is better." She smiled and that was it. We had a wonderful day. We went to lava hot spirngs, out to eat, and back to my place for a tim tam slam.
Ever sence then we have seen eachother every week. life is good!!
