in a case like this there is only one thing to do, EAT SUGAR!!! i decided that the Sunday night before finals week we should do what we can do to get our minds off the impending doom. so, when i got off work Saturday i started baking. i made Blond brownies with chocolate chips, turtles, toffee cheese cake, and pudding cookies. i also bought one of those big things of cookies and cream ice cream. Dan also made a cheese cake.
We had about fifteen people over all wanting to take our minds off anything we didn't want to think about. we ate, and ate and ate :) it was a wonderful day that i would only hope could happen over and over.
so it did it's job. we all had a few hours to take our minds off whatever horrible tests our teacher could come up with. but alas it is over now and we are in the thick of it all. all i can hope for is that Mom has plenty of SUGAR SWEETS waiting for me when i get home for the holidays. that way i can have something to take my mind off what i would have just went through :)

Darren- I'm pretty impressed, never knew you were a baker! Sometimes it's best to keep your skills hidden however because once people know you can do something they expect you to do it all the time. I think that Grant's been playing dumb for quite some time :)
So far I have chocolate - but you know there will be more - what kind of fudge do you want?
Darren ~ it may seem like a good idea at the time but when you have to buy pants with a bigger waist size (oh wait, you are fortunate and never gain weight)and your teeth are amazingly good...so I guess I can't think of a good reason for you to not eat all those sweets. Nice job on the baking! You can make some of that cookies & cream pie when you're up here :}
